And as it turns out, it looks like a sock after all. I will post a pic soon but I am currently unmotivated to go to the trouble of getting the camera, uploadhttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifing the photo, and sending it to blogger—I am downright lazy. I was knitting the sock while watching Because I Said So, which turns out to be a good movie to knit to. I did look up whenever character was on. He is fine!
So stay tuned for a picture. Hope you all had a great week-end.
Doesn't turning the heel make you feel clever and smart?!
ReplyDeleteHa! You're so funny! Can't wait to see your socks!
ReplyDeleteWhoohooo! When I turned my first heel, I felt like I shot some kind of voodoo magic miracle out of my needles. I love socks. Can't wait to see the picture...
ReplyDeleteOh, congratulations! It's like a little bit of magic. I was so entertained by my first sock that I promptly went nuts and bought enough sock yarn for about 20 pairs. The infatuation only lasted through about five pairs, meaning I have an awful lot of sock yarn hanging around.
ReplyDeletei saw that movie with my mom, since we have such a similar relationship as mandy moore and diane keaton's characters! it was a good light little movie, and i'll agree, great to knit to!
ReplyDeleteSarah! Congrats!!! I think that is just so cool that one can actually "turn a heel" it is so cool how it progresses, isn't it? Nice work!
